I am intrigued and already experiencing great success in the first week of the program, so I wanted to pass this on to our readers. Ms. Pomroy is a celebrity nutritionist and wellness consultant, and her books have been “Instant #1 New York Times Bestsellers,” so she has great credibility. More importantly, her program makes sense.

Subtitled “Eat More Food & Lose More Weight” with the logo to “Lose Up to 20 Pounds in 28 Days,” it got my immediate attention. Through her “systematic rotation of targeted foods on specific days, at strategic times, the body transforms itself by cycling between rest and active recovery of the metabolism.”

Basically it’s three different phases each week, and the weeks repeat themselves, so you don’t get bored with eating the same things. Phase 1 is two days of smart carbs and protein (no fat) with aerobic exercise; Phase 2 is two days of proteins and veggies (no fat) with weight exercise; and Phase 3 is three days of a combination of all, with healthy fats and exercise like yoga and massage. No caffeine, no alcohol, no dairy, no refined sugar, no wheat, no corn, no nitrates, no soy, no dried fruit or fruit juice, no artificial sweeteners, and no fat-free “diet” foods. Organic when possible. Three main provisions are (1) eat within 30 minutes of awakening; (2) eat 5 times a day (3 meals and 2 snacks) and (3) drink half your body weight in ounces of water every day.
