When we eat food, most of it is broken down by our body’s system into a simple sugar called glucose. Glucose is our main source of fuel for our ENERGY. After digestion, the glucose reaches our blood stream, where it is available for our energy. BUT insulin is needed for glucose to get into your cells, so that fuel can be transformed to ENERGY.

If your pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or if the produced insulin does not work properly, the glucose in your bloodstream cannot get to your cells. It’s not metabolized. So the glucose stays in the blood, and then the blood sugar level is high. As these high amounts of sugar circulate in the blood, the kidneys remove extra sugar from the blood and excrete it through urine. Still no metabolism because the body is not using the glucose for energy. So the body is under a constant impression of hunger, the diabetic’s appetite increases, and the patient eats more frequently.

We think this explains why Diabetes Relief patients experience such increased energy on our treatment!
